The Zionist colonial state in all its horror
With a majority of 62 to 48, extending beyond the ruling coalition, the Knesset passed a law on March 30, 2026, reinstating the death penalty, but only for Palestinians. The law stipulates that " anyone who intentionally causes the death of another person with the intent to deny the existence of the State of Israel is liable to the death penalty or life imprisonment ." In the West Bank, the law specifies that " any resident who intentionally causes the death of a person in the context of a terrorist act is liable to the death penalty ."
This adoption sparked celebrations among the most fascist Zionists. Itamar Ben-Gvir, an elected official of the so-called "only democracy in the Middle East ," the entrenched Minister of Security, was a concentrated dose of bestiality, constantly displaying his violence and calling for murder. He celebrated the adoption of the neo-Nazi law mandating the hanging of Palestinians alone with cheap champagne: " We will hang them all, one by one ." At another point, gazing at the bound and tortured Palestinian hostages, Ben-Gvir spat: " Do you see them? This is how they are now, but there is one more thing to do, and that is to execute them ." He added: " We have stripped the prisoners in the jails of everything, and now we want to take their lives. "
This decision is a declaration to the world of the neo-fascist reality of the Zionist colonial entity. Palestinians are tortured and die every day in the jails of the genocidal colonial state, but it is forbidden to speak of it in the Western imperialist world. Within the Zionist entity itself, it is possible to speak of it and whitewash rapist soldiers. But this law represents a further degree of inhumanity and repression, a deliberate attempt to terrorize Palestinians, and especially the Resistance. Wouldn't the deliberate attempt to terrorize be called terrorism?
This is also a sign of weakness, yet another, if one were needed, demonstrating that the everyday resistance of the Palestinian people does not cease, quite the contrary, to resist and that the Zionists cannot overcome it.
This is also a further sign of the impunity enjoyed by the ruling classes, leaders, and media of the Zionist colonial state, an organic extension of Western imperialism. The reactions in France, particularly the usual "concern" from the Foreign Ministry, show that there's some resistance, but there's still no talk of sanctions.
Massacres, harassment, and lamentation: nothing changes among the Zionists in occupied Palestine.
Assassinations of journalists, doctors, nurses, murders of children, bombings of civilian areas, spraying of poison on agricultural land to sterilize it, daily and violent pogroms against Palestinians in the West Bank under the protection of the army, etc., etc. And now, on top of everything else, we have to endure the whining of those presenting themselves as victims, calling it an atrocity that Iranian reprisals against their aggression and war crimes keep them up at night… Daily, we witness these neo-Nazi militias of Israeli settlers, protected by the army, destroying centuries-old olive groves belonging to the rightful occupants of this land; these fanatical monsters have decided to steal it from them.
A former chief of staff of the Zionist occupation army recently labeled the colonial state a neo-Nazi state. Yet, there remains a crucial difference: the Nazis, supported by the German people, hid in order to commit their atrocities. Israeli Nazis not only do not hide, but they openly embrace and even boast about them. Thousands of messages, videos, articles, and television interviews point to a genocidal intent, thus revealing to the world the true nature of Zionism.
More and more people around the world are asking the nagging question: could it have been something else? To find out, let's listen to former fascist-leaning member of parliament Moshe Feiglin, a member of the Likud party on a rotating basis (from 1995 to 2015, then from 2021 to 2024), on the most-watched program on Israeli television: " As Hitler said, ' I cannot live if a single Jew remains , ' we cannot live here if a single Palestinian remains in Gaza."
And we know that public opinion in the Zionist entity is in agreement. The horrors that have been occurring for almost three years are overwhelmingly approved by the population, primarily by the descendants of European immigrants.
The prospect of a ceasefire with Iran is causing a stir throughout the small Zionist world.
Following the joint announcements by Trump and the Iranian Security Council, Zionist media outlets are expressing their dismay and anger. Channel 13, which had installed a countdown timer regarding Trump's so-called ultimatum, reported: " Not only Israel, but also Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, and Oman are deeply dissatisfied. President Trump has effectively elevated Iran to the status of owner of what was once an open maritime route. They now control the flow of 20% of the world's energy—with the tacit approval of the world's only superpower. "
Netanyahu's "political opponents" are also furious. Their chief critic, Yair Lapid, declared: " Never in our history have we experienced such a political disaster. Israel wasn't even consulted on decisions concerning the very foundations of our national security. The army did everything it was asked to do, the population demonstrated incredible resilience, but Netanyahu failed politically, strategically, and achieved none of the objectives he set for himself. It will take us years to repair the political and strategic damage caused by Netanyahu's arrogance, negligence, and lack of strategic planning. " Yair Golan, further to the left than Lapid, added his own perspective: " Netanyahu lied. He promised a triumph. The result: total failure. Iran's nuclear program hasn't been destroyed. The regime is holding on, stronger than ever. Israel is no longer in control. It is merely reacting." “For all these people, the army fought, the people held firm, but the far-right government (Smotrich, Ben Gvir) ruined everything. Our ‘good Zionists’ find their opponents incompetent, dangerous, and losers. Meanwhile, Iran dictates its terms. And the Zionist colonial entity is not in the room. So, Netanyahu accepts and bends to their will. If he finds himself under fire from domestic criticism, he fully intends to continue the destruction and invasion of Lebanon, attempting, in doing so, to derail the ceasefire.”
In France, complicity, not always admitted, is the guiding principle.
Will the announcement on Tuesday, March 31, by a spokesperson for the Director General of the Israeli Ministry of Defense, of Israel's decision "to reduce defense purchases from France to zero" for the benefit of "allied countries," affect the dozens of French companies identified in the report by Urgence Palestine and the Palestinian Youth Movement, published on Tuesday, April 7, as selling military equipment to Israel? This 66-page document, entitled " The Inside Story of French Military Exports to Israel ," is not intended to be exhaustive but is as complete and precise as possible. It demonstrates a regular and diverse flow of equipment which, while not in themselves ready-to-use weapons, supplies the Israeli defense industry with sometimes essential components. According to the report, "between October 2023 and March 2026, more than 525 shipments of military equipment were sent by French manufacturers to the Israeli defense and aerospace industries . " The main French exporters identified are Sermat, ADR, Effbe France, Eurolinks, Savimex, Safran, Thales, Cimulec, Amphenol Air LB, Radiall, Aubert & Duval, Vishay MCB, and Hutchinson. On the Israeli side, Elbit Systems, the country's leading arms manufacturer, is responsible for almost all of the purchases, which the report was unable to quantify in terms of quantity or value. More than 90% of the shipments, originating from some fifty cities and twelve regions of France, were transported by the Zionist airline El Al. The vast majority of these flights departed from Roissy-Charles de Gaulle Airport, which, according to the report, is also used extensively for "the transit of American military cargo between North America and Israel" : "Between April 4, 2025, and October 25, 2025, more than 117 shipments left various Lockheed Martin [American and global defense and security company] facilities and air bases in the United States bound for Israel, the majority (79%) being transported to the Nevatim military air base." All of these shipments transited through the Paris hub of the American air freight company FedEx, the largest outside the United States.
But it's not just arms sales; complicity is also evident in the official reactions of the French bourgeois state authorities. On April 7th in Gaza, a tank belonging to the colonial occupation army fired on a WHO (World Health Organization) vehicle transporting wounded people, killing one of the staff members. This is how the statement from "France Diplomatie," the voice of the pro-Zionist minister Barrot, begins: " France expresses its deep concern following the security incident that cost the life of a staff member working for the World Health Organization in Gaza. " So, according to Barrot and Macron, firing on an ambulance and killing a healthcare worker is a "security incident"! How can one minimize an assassination that is part of the Zionist occupation army's routine, how can one characterize it without denouncing it? The usual mention of concern is not a condemnation. As for possible sanctions, the question will not be addressed.
Furthermore, let's return to the law establishing the death penalty for Palestinians, which we discussed earlier. While this law is yet another revelation of the true nature of the Zionist project—namely, replacement colonization—a whole narrative is emerging in France claiming that it constitutes a betrayal, or at least a deviation, from the initial objectives of Zionist colonization. Thus, a fairly broad segment of the Zionist movement across the political spectrum (from Horvilleur to Finkielkraut) is now aligning itself with the position of the French "left": criticizing the "far-right government of Netanyahu" but not the Zionist entity itself; on the contrary, this criticism is intended to defend it, to allow it to perpetuate itself. "Experts" are being called upon to dress up this blatant political maneuver. Thus, Radio France quotes sociologist Alain Dieckoff, research director at the CNRS "specializing in contemporary Israeli politics and society." Here is what this eminent academic says: " Since 2009 and the return of Benjamin Netanyahu to power, Israeli democracy has been undergoing a slow de-democratization of the State of Israel in certain areas ," which is gradually favoring "the ethno-cultural dimension of the State at the expense of the democratic dimension . "
This rescue operation for the Zionist idea, and the law itself, allows us to better understand the importance for ideologues and servants of all kinds of Western imperialism of combating the "denial of the State of Israel." Let us recall, for all intents and purposes, the credo of the handbook from the Ministry of National Education that we criticized last week: " More than seventy-five years after the creation of Israel (1948), anti-Zionism, if it were to be realized, would imply the destruction of this State and therefore the expulsion or elimination of Jews from the region. " The operation rests on two pillars: the first is the ideological hammering that explains to us that the current Zionist entity is a perversion of that of 1948, when in fact it is its logical continuation; the second is the widespread use of censorship and repression.
Yadan's bill
This proposal is the latest iteration of the effort to save Zionism through coercion and repression. It allows us to break through the silence of the West, and France in particular, which amounts to nothing less than complicity. If the Yadan Law is passed, denouncing these crimes, describing them, and protesting against official French silence will soon be forbidden. The vile Yadan Law, named after this French MP who is an unofficial representative of the Israeli state, will soon be debated in Parliament. It has a strong chance of being adopted, given its support from the right wing, the National Rally (RN), and, of course, a faction within the Socialist Party, since its former President of the Republic signed the proposal. As did, of course, Jérôme Guedj, a Socialist MP and ardent defender, along with his fellow Socialist Julien Dray, of Zionist atrocities. The recent about-face of the Socialist Party, which will vote against (finally, perhaps), as well as the concern of the Democratic Movement (MoDem) requesting the postponement of the examination of the proposal, are due only to the impressive number of signatories of the online petition against the Yadan law, gathering more than 500,000 signatures.
We won't go into the details of this nefarious proposal here, but simply recall its underlying philosophy: according to this text, criticizing Israel will be considered antisemitic. The intentions are crystal clear, and everything else is just empty talk. Ms. Yadan has, in fact, spilled the beans. While she grotesquely claimed that her text had universal scope (!!!!!) since it prohibited calling for the disappearance of a state (its “negation”), this is false, as everyone knows perfectly well, since no one considers those who called for the disappearance of Yugoslavia, and even contributed to it, to be common criminals. Nor do those who rejoiced at the collapse of the Soviet Union. But Ms. Yadan goes even further, since her famous universal text prohibiting questioning the existence of a state will not apply to the Palestinian state! Why bother when you have so many friends in our country? They are all complicit in the horrors unfolding daily in Israel. All these noble souls call for the repression of those who oppose it.
Yadan's friends even went so far as to circulate a petition, a sort of reminder of the rules, in case French parliamentarians were overcome by scruples regarding this latest violation of freedom of expression guaranteed by the Declaration of the Rights of Man. Or, dare we say, perhaps the members of the Constitutional Council would remember they had taken an oath. Woe to those who make the mistake of listening to their conscience. As Blanche Gardin says, social death can come quickly. This petition for the proposed law is signed only by prominent figures, unlike the citizens' petition from the opponents. It's worth noting, however, the presence on this short list of supporters of repression and genocide: Manuel Valls, Bernard Cazeneuve, Jean-Michel Blanquer, the inevitable Yonathan Arfi, president of the CRIF (Representative Council of Jewish Institutions of France), artists, lawyers, academics, "journalists," and, of course, the staunchly Zionist UEJF (Union of Jewish Students of France).
The Court of Cassation: a champion of the defense of the Zionist entity
Some naive or hypocritical individuals will tell us that, despite the passage of the Yadan Law, should it occur, it would be possible to take refuge behind future case law, which would supposedly be the product of a judiciary concerned with defending liberties. This demonstrates a poor understanding of the true role of the Justice system, which serves the capitalist state, the social composition of its members, and its recent decisions. The Court of Cassation, the highest court in matters of private law, has recently shown us once again that it intends to remain at the forefront of the defense of the Zionist colonial state. But first, let us recall its past achievements.
The boycott
For many years, a political boycott movement against Israel, due to its illegal policies of occupation and colonization of the Palestinian territories and its refusal to recognize the creation of a Palestinian state, has been developing worldwide. This movement has taken an organized form through the "Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions (BDS)" movement. But even before this formalization, the French justice system immediately criminalized all calls for a boycott of Israel. This repression intensified with the creation of the BDS movement. As early as the 2000s, lower court decisions equated calls for a boycott with incitement to discrimination. These decisions were systematically upheld by the Criminal Chamber of the Court of Cassation, as for example, the rulings of September 28, 2004 (Seclin case), December 18, 2007 (Limoges Chamber of Commerce and Industry), and May 22, 2012 (Arnaud case).
Spurred on by the nefarious Alliot-Marie circular of February 12, 2010, which demanded the prosecution of these acts, convictions multiplied relentlessly. This culminated in the infamous ruling of the Criminal Chamber on October 20, 2015, upholding the convictions of BDS activists by the Colmar Court of Appeal. In the unanimous opinion of the French judiciary, protesting and organizing protests against Israeli policy toward the Palestinian population is inherently antisemitic.
It took a ruling from the European Court of Human Rights (ECHR) on June 11, 2020 (Baldassi and Others v. France) condemning France for violating Article 10 of the European Convention on Human Rights, specifically Article 10 guaranteeing freedom of expression. The court found that the call for a boycott contained neither antisemitism nor hate speech. The French judiciary's refusal to comply created an impression of significant indecision between 2020 and 2022. It wasn't until October 17, 2023, that the Court of Cassation finally relented.
With a half-hearted reversal of jurisprudence. Thus, it took a 15-year battle demonstrating that, when it comes to the Zionist entity, for French justice, freedom of expression and political freedom carry no weight.
The repression of support for the Resistance
In a ruling dated March 31 , the Court of Cassation dealt another decisive blow to freedom of expression, a right guaranteed by Article 11 of the French Declaration of the Rights of Man and of the Citizen. It upheld the conviction of an individual who shared a tweet by a former Tunisian minister describing October 7, 2023, as an act of resistance against the Israeli occupation. The author criticized Europeans for merely labeling the event as terrorism. This tweet, of course, was deemed by the lower court judge to be "apology for terrorism," and its author was sentenced to four months' suspended imprisonment and a two-year ban from holding public office. This decision is appalling, and much more. First, it marks France's decisive shift toward repression, with prison sentences imposed for mere words. Second, the use of certain nouns is now prohibited. And finally, the simple reproduction on the digital network of another's opinion is considered, if it is not accompanied by "nuances", to be worse than complicity, that is to say, to be its co-author.
Fundamentally, the ban is clearly based on an opinion: the opinion that the actions of Hamas and other organizations on October 7th constituted an act of resistance. Historically, it is perfectly clear that it was an act of resistance, perhaps even terrorism. The history of all resistance movements, including the French resistance during the occupation, demonstrates this. To call it "resistance" is obviously no more to condone the terrorist forms of the action carried out that day than to say, as all honest observers do, "all this didn't begin on October 7th," referring to the violence that has plagued this region since the creation of the Zionist colonial state. Consequently, the fight against terrorism is a convenient pretext. In this instance, with this mass repression, it primarily serves to criminalize support for the Palestinian cause and criticism of the policies of the State of Israel.
Between relentless pursuit and absurdity
This new decision, in the political context of the Zionist aggression against Lebanon, takes on particular significance. The Court of Cassation has taken the liberty of reiterating and confirming its long-standing commitment to supporting the cause of the Zionist colonial state. It has just overturned the decision of the Paris Court of Appeal, which had finally granted conditional release to one of the longest-serving prisoners in French prisons, Georges Ibrahim Abdallah , after more than 40 years of detention, even though he had been eligible for release for over 20 years. The Lebanese activist, it will be recalled, was accused of being an accomplice in the murders of Zionist and American intelligence agents on French soil at a time when his country, Lebanon, was under attack by the colonial entity in a brutal war that included the infamous Sabra and Shatila massacres.
This ruling will have no practical effect, since Georges Ibrahim Abdallah was released and then deported, and, at 75 years old, returned to live in his country. The Court of Cassation considered this release impossible because, according to them: " In the case of a life sentence, parole cannot be granted until the convicted person has been placed under a regime of semi-liberty, placement outside prison, or placement under electronic monitoring for a period of at least one year ."
However, the Paris Court of Appeal, which had granted conditional release on the condition that Georges Ibrahim Abdallah leave the country and not re-enter, then ruled that, having no ties to France, he should be considered an individual "without a residence permit." This interpretation was perfectly acceptable and, above all, had the merit of ridding France of the problem. But this did not sit well with the Court of Cassation, which had systematically upheld the denials of release and kept Abdallah in prison. It deemed it appropriate, given that he would never return to France, and that the Zionist entity had once again perpetrated an aggression accompanied by war crimes against Lebanon, to remind everyone, even symbolically, where its sympathies lay.
In conclusion
All the measures implemented to repress, censor, and control dissemination do not reveal a position of strength on the part of the ideologues defending Western imperialism, nor on the part of the capitalist bourgeoisie they serve. On the contrary, they demonstrate that the movement of solidarity with the national liberation of Palestine is indeed present and that it significantly disrupts the established order.
The Palestinian cause faces silence, disinformation, censorship, repression, and a desire to indoctrinate people everywhere, but especially in France. This indoctrination role is assigned to schools. But information, like the truth about the Zionist entity, is undeniable: despite threats, censorship, and pressure, the world knows. The struggle waged by Zionist leaders, our own imperialist leaders, and the subservient media to prevent the colonial situation, the true face of the Zionist colonial state, and its current state of decay due to Iranian missiles from being revealed is utterly futile.
Everywhere, against the falsification serving Western imperialism, the criminalization of anti-colonialism, and in favor of defending truth and the national liberation of Palestine, one will find the militants of the Revolutionary Communist Party. Barricades have only two sides, as Elsa Triolet said: the national liberation of Palestine or submission, in one way or another, to the colonial order.
For the Revolutionary Communist Party, the struggle of the Palestinian Resistance, which directly confronts the vanguard of Western imperialism, is vital for the proletariat of the entire planet; the Palestinians are a people who are actors in their own history, fighting against Zionism, imperialism and reaction, for their national liberation, a long struggle whose centrality and strategic nature for our own emancipation we must recognize.
The Zionist colonial state will fall, that is the direction of history; and Palestine will be free from the sea to the Jordan!
