Bulletin No42 Janvier 2024  Israel is in the red
The weekly “  Courrier International  ” relays an investigation by the most widely read newspaper in Zionist land “  Yediot Aharonot  ” on the army's use of the Hannibal procedure on October 7: “  In addition to the level of unpreparedness of the Israeli army on October 7, 2023, an unofficial rule of engagement which gives priority to the “neutralization” of enemy combatants over the protection of captives is controversial. It would have in fact led to the death of at least 70 hostages during “Black Saturday”, reveals an investigation by “Yediot Aharonot”.  ".
The pressures from the families of captives against a government that doesn't care about them are increasing. And, for the first time, Tel Aviv and especially Haifa (in the north of the Zionist state) hosted demonstrations bringing together Israeli Arabs and Jews to demand a ceasefire.
Furthermore, the only objective achieved by the occupying army in the Gaza Strip seems to be the death of tens of thousands of Palestinians by weapons, hunger or disease. When it comes to official military objectives, the Zionist army encounters great difficulties. Even in the north, supposedly neutralized, the Palestinian resistance is still active and strikes unexpectedly. In Khan Younes, in the south, where the essential battle is taking place, the occupying troops have had to retreat several times. Not far from there, on January 22, an RPG rocket destroyed a tank and caused the death of 24 soldiers, including 21 reservists. This is officially the heaviest toll for the Zionist army.
This report on the results of the war of aggression makes certain Israeli politicians come out of the woods. Several Israeli leaders of the centrist opposition, notably members of the war cabinet (expanded since the government of national unity) have expressed a point of view different from that of the fascist Netanyahu and speak neither more nor less of stopping the war.
And the massacre continues
The death toll from Israeli attacks on the Gaza Strip since October 7 has risen to 25,700, the Ministry of Health of the besieged enclave said on Wednesday. The ministry said in a statement that 63,740 people were also injured.
Israeli forces committed 24 massacres in the Gaza Strip in the past 24 hours, killing 210 people and injuring 386 others, the statement said, adding: "  Many people are still trapped under the rubble and on the roads, and rescuers can’t reach them  .”
The Israeli offensive has caused the internal displacement of 85% of Gaza's population, facing severe shortages of food, drinking water and medicine, while 60% of the enclave's infrastructure has been damaged or destroyed, according to the UN.
Hundreds of thousands of people are homeless and half as many aid trucks enter the territory compared to the situation before the outbreak of Israel's colonial and apartheid state's war against the people Palestinian.
“  Gaza residents are not only at risk of being killed or injured by the incessant bombardments, but also of contracting infectious diseases  ,” declared UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres on January 23.
Asking for peace is not enough, we must defend the rights of the Palestinians
In France, as in the world, the demonstrations continue and are growing in scale. Waiting for the decision of the International Court of Justice gives rise to real hope. But we know that even if the decision is likely to put an end to the genocide, which is not certain, the Zionist state will not respect it.
It is time for the good souls of the “left” in France to understand that the time has come for diplomatic and economic pressure on the apartheid colonial state. It is time to understand that the Zionist state does not want peace, but the extermination or exile of the Palestinians, to understand that the source of all evil is the existence of a colonial state practicing apartheid. Without pressure on the Zionist leaders, the war will not stop and may even spread.
The US government, which could, by ceasing to deliver arms and ammunition to the colonialists, stop the war, has not and will not choose to go against its pawn in the Middle East. As proof, when Netanyahu announces his refusal of a Palestinian state, Biden is supposed to get angry; and what does he do? Nothing.
It is still the weekly “  Courrier International  ” which reports a column by a journalist from “  Haaretz  ”, published in its newspaper. The column is entitled "  Why Israelis must support the decision of the International Court of Justice  " and the journalist says, among other things: "  Anyone who judges the continuation of the war unnecessary, who sees the scale of the deaths and destruction, which wishes to put an end to the inhuman suffering endured by more than 2 million human beings, can only hope that the International Court of Justice in The Hague will order the suspension of Israeli military operations in the Gaza Strip. It is not easy for an Israeli to want a judicial decision against his country, a decision which could also lead to sanctions, but is there another way to stop this war?  »
Whoever wants peace does not want a truce, a simple cessation of fighting. Who wants peace wants justice! Whoever wants peace wants to stop the murderous arm of Israel.
We repeat once again what we have been saying since the reactivation of Israel's war against the Palestinians. We are not dealing with an imperialist war like in Ukraine, but with a colonial war! The wrongs are not shared, Israel does not defend itself, it occupies, it has attacked for 75 years. The Zionist State is the one and only responsible for this entire war, including the events of October 7, 2023!!!
The protest movement must focus on the rights of the Palestinian people, on the denunciation of the apartheid state and on the active complicity it benefits from Western imperialists. Contrary to what we have heard, Macron is not showing cowardice, he is complicit with the Zionists and their enterprise of ethnic cleansing and genocide  ! It is therefore time to force Western leaders to really weigh in, through action, to impose peace.
The Communist Revolutionary Party recalls that peace means first of all a ceasefire, free access to all humanitarian workers and the withdrawal of occupying troops; then the dismantling of the colonies and the right of return for all those banished since 1948; finally a discussion with all Palestinian resistance organizations with the perspective of a single and secular Palestinian state.
